Lama Pictures is a fresh, Greek based, film production company that was founded in 2019 with the single mission of making dreams into pictures.
Years of experience combined with the mindset of new creators and a profound love for film making are united under the Lama umbrella, aiming to discover equally passionate people and turn their vision into reality.
And how is this done? By creating a safe and stable environment where the creator of any background can focus on breathing life into their project. And when that happens, there’s no stopping them.

After having witnessed first hand the challenges the greek film market had to overcome throughout the economic crisis – only to blossom like never before- Lama Pictures’ team felt that it has what it takes to guide successfully a production from the get go to the finish line, both nationally and internationally.

Having the right people around you makes the script writing process – which is the backbone of a good animation film – a piece of cake.
One of the most important steps is to get your team working on the characters who will define your story. A very crucial decision is to choose the correct voices for your story’s heroes. That’s how you’ll bring your characters to life and give them the authenticity they deserve.
And just when your vision is taking shape, that’s when the storyboard comes in the picture, in order to make sure that every one is on the same page regarding the project’s aesthetics and development .
Next stop, editing. That’s right, editing is the creator’s tool to connect the pieces of the story’s puzzle and that’s when the animatic can take charge and give us the first taste of our hard work.
When the illustration and the animation are good to go, last but not least, it’s the sound’s turn to lay it’s magic touch on our film and give it its last push towards the big screen.
Distribution of the film is a huge part of sharing our project with the world and make sure that it finds the place it deserves between the numerous film festivals and cinemas.
